. Library Cards
- Persons registering for a card must provide proof of address.
- Library cards are issued free of charge to those persons aged four years or older. Children aged 4-17 years old must have their parent or legal guardian sign for the library card.
- Signing the library card registration form means that the patrons agree to all of the library’s rules and regulations set forth in library policy.
- Patrons wishing to check out materials must have their cards or ID with them if requested.
- Monitoring or limiting access to either print or online materials, by a child, is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian, NOT the library staff.

Items may be renewed (automatically, in person, via telephone, or on-line) except for materials that have been requested by another patron, or have a no-renew policy set by their lending libraries.
F. Overdue Charges
Patrons will not accrue fines for having overdue items.
All current overdue fines, not lost or damaged item fees, will be forgiven.
All eligible items will automatically renew four times when they become overdue. Items reserved by another patron will not automatically renew.
Patron accounts with three overdue items will be frozen and no further items may be borrowed until fewer than three items are overdue.
A first overdue notice will be sent at 7 days. A final overdue notice will be sent at 21 days. A billing notice will be sent at 32 days.
At 30 days overdue, items will be considered lost and a lost item fee will be assessed. Accounts with $5.00 or more in fees will be frozen.
