The Friends of the Riverdale Forest-Jackson Public Library raise funds and provide volunteer support for special events and everyday library activities. Current activities include the ongoing used book sale and annual fundraisers: Spring Ladies Luncheon and the Christmas Gift Basket Silent Auction.
The Friends help promote the Library, develop activities, present special programs and encourage reading and use of the Library.
Friends of the Library are "fine-free." While still responsible for lost or damaged items, Friends do not pay for overdue fines.
The Friends meet in January, March and October.
